I was born and raised in Greensboro, NC, but have been living in Minnesota for 10 years. Many years of my childhood were spent on the outer banks of North Carolina, specifically Emerald Isle. My family would make trips on weekends, or whenever we decided to pack up the cars and drive a few hours to the coast. Whenever I find myself longing to come back to the outer banks, I come to the Atlantis Lodge web page to view the live web cam. I have stayed at the Atlantis Lodge a few times, so the familiarity of the hotel, the layout of the beach, the ocean, the dunes and the trees bring back fond memories and I find myself daydreaming about the memories yet to be made along the outer banks. I hope to visit again this year and stay at the Atlantis Lodge again. Its time!
